What is AudioCatalyst?

AudioCatalyst™ allows you to take a CD, make a digital copy on your hard drive, and transform that file into an MP3 file.

With AudioCatalyst you can:

• Rip and encode content from Audio CDs to MP3 or AIFF files
• Encode WAV to MP3 files
• Encode from an analog source (such as a CD-ROM drive, record player, microphone, or sound mixer) to MP3 or AIFF files

You need a Power Macintosh computer running system 7.5.5. or higher (with or without the Macintosh Appearance Manager) to run AudioCatalyst.
